- Created and analysed customer satisfaction survey, which showed 100% of staff were satisfied with the IT Support provided for each of the three years managing the IT department at Bohunt Worthing
- Managed the backups of the school network including VM snapshots using Veeam and copies of switch configurations
- Procurement of PCs, iPads, Laptops, Servers, CCTV components, IP Telephones, Printers and Software
- Managed the licensing of all hardware and software
- Project Managed the Windows 8 to Windows 10 Upgrade
- Designed and project managed the IT infrastructure expansion for the migration of the school from temporary site to new site. This included negotiating cost models and SLAs with external companies. The Project was completed on time and within the £1.1m budget
- Management of the IT services including, VMWare virtual server farm hosting Windows server 2012r2 servers, 60 PCs, Veeam backup system, WSUS, MacOS server, 20 iMacs, 60 laptops, HP networking, Aerohive wireless solution, Google apps for education email domain, IP telephony system, CCTV network, cashless catering, digital display system and audio visual solutions for teaching
- Worked across the Trust of schools to support 6000+ users, implement other 1-2-1 iPad Schemes and hire IT technicians to support the IT departments.

- Budgetary responsibility of £150k per year. This budget is derived from my production of a five year plan on replacing hardware and continuing software licences
IT Technician at Bohunt School Worthing

- Involved in project to implement an IT infrastructure into a temporary site for a new secondary school for 180 students and staff. The implementation included; a VMWare virtual server farm hosting Windows server 2012r2 servers, 60 PCs, Veeam backup system, 60 laptops, HP networking, Aerohive wireless solution, Google apps for education email domain, IP telephony system, CCTV network, cashless catering, digital display system and audio visual solutions for teaching. I also had to design and negotiate a tender for the printing and photocopying system for the new school
- I was responsible for the successful implementation of a 1-2-1 iPad scheme for the school. This involved, negotiating lease agreements for the finances to support the scheme, working with suppliers to organise an ordering portal and delivering 180 iPads in one evening and enrolling them into the JAMF MDM solution
- Supervised the volunteer in the department
- Due to the nature of this being a new school I had to implement a new IT service department to the school and was quickly promoted to IT Manager
IT Technician at The Angmering School
September 2014 – August 2015
- I lead the help desk including being 1st line support. This included communications through email, phone calls and drop-ins. I would first assess the problem, raise a ticket and then assign to the most appropriate technician to solve the issue. I monitored all the open cases and chased up when necessary by highlighting issues to the IT manager of cases that were taking longer than expected. Occasionally I had to deal with complaints where issues were not resolved to the customers satisfaction
- I lead the asseting of all IT hardware within the school. This started with a fresh asset survey across the site to ensure the database was up to date. When new hardware was purchased I would then asset and add the Asset Configuration Database called Sysaid
- I lead a project to update all classrooms to be ready for the implementation of a front desk PC. This included a survey of all classrooms to see what cable infrastructure was needed for the PC and audio visual system. I researched how other schools laid out there classroom technologies to design the best solution. I renovated 67 classroom with AV and networking cable infrastructure. I had the budget of £65k and 6 months to complete. I completed the work 3 weeks early and £7k under budget
- Within this role I first learnt about networking including DHCP and DNS. I also was introduced to Active directory services, email systems, wireless, papercut
- During my time within the department I started the weekly sporting competition to improve staff morale, each week all 6 colleagues would participate in a different sport against each other for points.

- Managed the budget of £21k to deliver and analyse suitable IT hardware and software to 45 students with special educational needs through a self made assessment process
- Explored new hardware and implemented the first use of an iPad into the school
- Taught small groups of students when cover was needed
- Digital leader role which included teaching staff how to use technology to aid students
- Organised 45 students exams and the staff rotas to aid them
- Liaised with teachers to ensure students were able to meet predicted grades
